2014: A Second Team Capital One Academic All-American … Second Team d3football.com All-East Region … First Team All-MAC … Academic All-MAC selection … Lycoming’s Male Athlete of the Year … appeared in and started all 10 games at running back … broke Josh Kleinfelter's record of 3,664 career rushing yards with his final rush – a 50-yard touchdown to give him 3,713 career yards … finished career with a school-record 42 touchdowns, 39 rushing touchdowns and 5,291 all-purpose yards … finished season seventh in the nation in all-purpose yards, averaging 186.7 per game … finished third in the MAC and tied for 22nd nationally with 1,242 rushing yards and second in the MAC and tied for 32nd nationally with a school-record 13 rushing touchdowns … posted a season-high 90-yard run against Misericordia … rushed for at least 100 yards in six games … rushed for 200 yards against Misericorida and FDU-Florham, posting a school-record 299 against FDU-Florham … posted the first two 300-all-purpose-yard games in program history as a senior, doing so against Misericordia and FDU-Florham, earning him the MAC’s Offensive Player of the Week award twice … also named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for 339 all-purpose yard effort against FDU-Florham and named USA College Football Offensive Player of the Week for 305-yard game against Misericordia … also notched 12 receptions for 143 yards … finished sixth in the MAC with a school-record 482 kick return yards on 21 opportunities … recipient of the Leland "Lee" Calistri '59 Award, the David G. Busey Award and the team’s Offensive Player of the Year at the team’s annual football banquet … a member of the MAC Academic Honor Roll.

Always called "The Catch!" WR John Sibel pulled down this ball and maintained control of the ball, BUT the official called this fabulous catch incomplete. We have a series photos the dispute that call. John is from Yardley, PA and Pennsbury High School.


2014: Academic All-MAC … became 21th player in school history to notch 1,000 receiving yards in a career with 95-yard game against Delaware Valley … appeared in and started seven games at wide receiver before an injury ended his season … recorded 26 catches for 370 yards … had a touchdown against Albright, Wilkes, and Delaware Valley … posted at least one reception in all seven games … recorded six kick returns netting 135 yards … punted two times for 37 yards and knocked one punt inside the 20-yard line … earned Hampshire Honor Society accolades … a member of the MAC Academic Honor Roll.

2014: Earned Preseason First-Team All-American mentions from D3football.com, Sporting News, Lindy’s College Football, Beyond Sports Network and USA College Football Network … named to the D3 Senior Classic “Super Senior” Watchlist and the College Gridiron Showcase Watch List … an Honorable Mention USA College Football All-American … a Second Team All-MAC defensive back … started seven games while battling injuries … recorded 46 tackles, including 11 against FDU-Florham … had two interceptions and four passes defended … finished career sixth in school history with 16 interceptions.
