Five Things
Lebanon Valley will look to bounce back after struggling in a 48-7 loss to Franklin & Marshall in the team's season opener last weekend. The Flying Dutchmen defeated Wilkes 38-20 at Arnold Field in the teams' most recent matchup last fall.

Today's matchup with Wilkes serves as LVC's Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) opener. The Dutchmen are 3-2 in their last five conference openers.

Lebanon Valley has won six in a row over the Colonels dating back to 2011.
The Dutchmen defense will have to contend with a D3football.com Preseason All-American in Wilkes tight end Garrett Armstrong.

166 Lycoming Vs Susquehanna Photos - We love the Lycoming Players, Coaches and Fans

Lycoming did so many things real well. There are however some areas that need cleaned up. Here are some of the photos that I love from week one.

Sr QB Collin Wright
Senior Collin Wright (Secane, Pa./Ridley) completed 8-of-14 passing for 83 yards. He only played half the game. If he would have played the whole game he could have had 16-of-24 completions for 166 yards or greater. Would we have scored a touchdown? The odds are "yes." Great game Collin. However, Chase Williams was our leading rusher with 28 yards on four attempts for seven yards per carry.

Offensive Line assisted our rushing attack for a total of 129 yards
For a young offensive line, they did an exceptional job. They allowed only one sack and we rushed for 129 total yards using three running backs and two quarterbacks.

Jr WR Nick Costello caught 5 passes for 73 yards. One catch was for 28 yards.
We have great wide receivers. Throw the ball to this tall guy aka Nick Costello and if he can touch it, he will bring it down!

Sophomore kicker Jamie Fisher is a solid FG Kicker
I am excited with our sophomore kicker Jamie Fisher. He has a very strong leg and it is a weapon for us in close games.

Susquehanna had 21 first downs and still only scored one touchdown in the second quarter. Lycoming shut out the River Hawks in the second half. They did their job against a very good and talented opponent.
Last but not least, the defense was stellar! Except for the fake punt predicament, this defense would bend without breaking stopping the River Hawks on a number of occasions inside our twenty yard line. I believe the future looks bright for the Warriors.

Kerschner Records 18 Tackles in Defensive Battle at Rowan

GLASSBORO, N.J. – Casey Kerschner had a career-high 18 tackles to go along with two sacks and 3.0 tackles for loss, but the Widener football team fell to the Rowan Profs 6-0 in the season opener for both teams on Saturday night.
