Lycoming Football - Turnovers Doom Warriors Against Seconds Year Alvernia

READING, Pa. – Freshman Joey Guida (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) rushed 12 times for 104 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Lycoming College football team and senior Jamie Fisher (Folsom, Pa./Ridley) set the school’s career field goal record, but Alvernia University used a touchdown from 15 yards out with 1:03 left to post a 29-24 Middle Atlantic Conference win at Alvernia’s Turf Field on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Lycoming Football - The Second Half Is A New Beginning

WILLIAMSPORT, PA - Playing in their third straight Homecoming game, the Lycoming College football team will try to get back on track when it faces Alvernia University in Middle Atlantic Conference action at the Turf Field on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 12 p.m.

The Warriors (1-4 overall, 0-3 MAC) are coming off a 41-7 loss to No. 13 Delaware Valley, where junior Gianni Bryant-Lopez scored the lone touchdown with a 20-yard fumble recovery. Senior Sam Pawlikowski led the team with eight tackles.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Led by a defense that allowed just nine first downs and 129 total yards, the Lycoming College football team snapped a two-game skid, posting a dominating 52-0 win over first-year program Alvernia University on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 20, in Middle Atlantic Conference action.

Warriors Face First Year Alvernia on Homecoming - Family Weekend

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - For the first time, the Lycoming College football team will take the field against Alvernia University today at David Person Field to highlight Homecoming weekend.

The Warriors (3-3 overall, 2-2 MAC) are coming off a narrow 23-16 loss to 22nd-ranked Delaware Valley on Saturday. Freshman Elijah Shemory led the offense, finishing 14-of-26 for 185 yards and he also ran for a touchdown.
