Williamsport, PA - The quarterback position is arguably the most important position for a successful football team. We have had some great quarterbacks over the years. Today we wanted to highlight the 2011-14 quarterback Tyler Jenny. His impressive resume is as follows

It all starts with preseason training. Getting into game shape, learning plays and learning that this is a team sport.

2014: Honorable Mention All-MAC … started all 10 games … earned the team's Most Valuable Player award … third in the MAC and 27th nationally in passing efficiency (155.9) … led the MAC in pass completion percentage at 63.7 percent … completed 186-of-293 for 2,404 yards and 24 touchdowns while being intercepted just six times … tossed for a career-high 411 yards on 24-of-40 passing (60%) with four touchdowns against Lebanon Valley … threw for more than 200 yards seven times and threw at least two touchdown passes in nine straight games … finished career with a 23-7 record as a starter, the third-most wins in program history.

2013: Earned Second Team All-MAC accolades … started all 10 games … led the MAC in passing efficiency (150.0) … ranked 22nd in Division III and second in the MAC in pass completion percentage at 65.4 percent … completed 161-of-246 for 2,038 yards and 16 touchdowns while being intercepted just eight times … 14th Warrior in school history to pass for 2,000 yards in school history … tossed for a career-high 305 yards on 20-of-21 (95.2 percent) with three touchdowns against Wilkes … threw for more than 200 yards five times and threw at least one touchdown pass in nine straight games.

It isn't all passing at the quarterback position. Being able to hand the ball off to a running back takes great timing.

Was 150-of-248 (60.5 percent) for 1,658 yards and 17 touchdowns while being intercepted just four times ... Also completed 60 percent of his passes in a school-record seven straight games ... Tossed for career-high 239 yards on 17-of-26 passing with three touchdowns against Wilkes, earning a spot on the MAC Weekly Honor Roll ... Threw for more than 200 yards three times.
