WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Senior Ahmad Curtis (Effort, Pa./Pleasant Valley) picked up the first all-region accolades of his career on Tuesday, as the defensive tackle earned a spot on the D3football.com All-East Region Second Team, the website announced on Dec. 10.

Curtis repeated as a First Team All-MAC selection in 2019 after posting 44 tackles, six for loss, from his defensive tackle position. The 6-1, 340-pounder was able to clog up the middle and keep opponents from running between the tackles throughout the year, as he made five or more tackles in five games. He finished his career with 137 tackles, 16 for loss and five sacks.

The criminal justice major was the first three-time All-MAC defensive lineman since Anthony Marascio from 2009-11. He is the fifth defensive tackle to earn D3Football.com all-region honors and the first since two-time selection Dwight Hentz in 2012-13.
