Looking at Lycoming vs Delaware Valley football for over 25 years

2015 - Jr RB Blake Bowman had a big rushing day against favored Delaware Valley.
It has been a series of momentum. In the eighties and nineties, the Lycoming College Warriors dominated the Dutchman of Delaware Valley. The Warriors had a 16 year winning streak that stretched from 1988 to 2002. In 1987, the Warriors and Dutchman played to a 7-7 tie. Also, Lycoming did not lose a game to the Dutchman for 20 years. That stretch was from 1983 to 2002.


But in recent years, the Warriors have been dominated by Delaware Valley. In the last 15 years, the Warriors have only managed to defeat Delaware Valley four times, the latest being in 2015 when they upset the No. 19 Dutchman. But out of the past six games, the Warriors have won three. The following shows the history of this rivalry:

2015 - Head Coach Mike Clark has had some big wins over ranked teams. His team defeated No. 19 Delaware Valley in 2015, No. 16 Delaware Valley in 2013 and in 2012, the Warriors defeated the No. 22 Dutchman 24-14. Oh, the Dutchman are ranked No. 22 for this game as we remember.
