PURSUIT OF GREATNESS - Remembering a Lycoming Football wide receiver star

December 6, 2003 was a cold, snowy and sad day in the anneals of Lycoming Football. I was excited for the next playoff home game because of the talent we had at QB in Phil Mann and the All-American WR Ricky Lannetti. Lycoming also had a rugged defensive core who was coming of age. That defense held rival Susquehanna University scoreless with a 38–0 victory to make it to the NCAA Playoffs.

Lycoming then faced talented East Texas Baptist on November 29th and defeated them by a 13–7 in an overtime win to advance to the NCAA quarterfinals against Bridgewater (Va).
