Williamsport, PA - Steve Wiser has taken the football out of football practice for the Lycoming secondary in recent weeks.

Seriously.

The long-time defensive coordinator of the Warriors is trying to make a point. It's a point that's easier to make without a football.

The Warriors' youthful secondary has been burned deep on a handful of plays through the first two weeks of the season. Wiser believes the biggest factor in those long passing plays has been the secondary looking into the backfield for the football.

So when it comes to practice, Wiser has removed the football. No longer can the players get caught looking in the backfield.
