WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – After one of the best games of his career, albeit in just the sixth loss in his three years as a starting quarterback for the Lycoming College football team, has helped senior Tyler Jenny (Glasgow, Pa./Glendale) earn his a spot on the Middle Atlantic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the conference office in Annville, Pa., announced on Sunday, Oct. 12.
Jenny, who is 20-6 as a signal caller for the Warriors, has completed 28-of-37 passing for career-highs of 376 yards and five touchdowns to lead 20th-ranked Lycoming against 24th-ranked Delaware Valley. He ran an efficient offense that racked up a season-high 461 yards while scoring 42 points, which tied for the season best.
Along the way, Jenny became the seventh player in school history to toss five touchdowns in a game and his 376 yards are seventh-most in school history. His 28 completions in the game are also tied for third-most in program history.
He also reached a couple milestones during the game, becoming the third player in school history to reach 400 career completions and the fourth to post 5,000 career passing yards.
After a bye week, the Warriors get back on the field on Saturday, Oct. 25, when they host No. 14 Widener at 1:30 p.m. at David Person Field as part of homecoming weekend.
