"The decision definitely took some time and was not very easy to make”

The third and final member of the senior class who was expected to continue their football career in college has made the decision to be a Warrior of Lycoming College. Erik Wagner, two year starting quarterback and defensive back for the Golden Eagles, has made his decision after considering multiple colleges. Wagner made his decision after narrowing his choices to Shippensburg, Juniata, and Lycoming.

“The decision definitely took some time and was not very easy to make,” stated Wagner.

Wagner said that many schools across the state showed interest.  After narrowing his choices to three, he weighed the pros and cons, including academics, atmosphere of the college, and size of the college.
Once everything was figured out, Lycoming was Wagner’s choice to further his education as a student-athlete. He is expecting to be a strong safety for the Warriors and hopes to help Lycoming continue their successful program.
