Williamsport, PA - I have learned that Ryan Umpleby has a foot injury which will keep him out for three weeks, or you can just say "The Rest of the Season!" This is a great loss for the Warrior offense. Ryan is a WR and punt returner and his statistics are impressive.
He has played in 7.25 games and has 31 receptions for 482 yards averaging 15.5 per catch. He has three 3 touchdowns. His first touchdown was against Wilkes on a 38 yard pass from QB Tyler Jenny. This was Ryan's longest reception. His second touchdown was against Widener in the second quarter on a 33 yard pass from QB Jenny. His third touchdown was on an eight play 71 yard drive in the third quarter against Lebanon Valley. Our only touchdown in that game, Ryan pulled down a 13 yard pass from Jenny.
Umpleby will be missed, but he will on the side line Saturday rooting on the Warriors.
