Warriors host Take a Kid to the Game Day in home opener against Wilkes

The Warriors host Wilkes on Take a Kid to the Game Day on Saturday, Sept. 14.
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College football team is proud to host Take a Kid to the Game day on Saturday, Sept. 14, when the Warriors host Middle Atlantic Conference foe Wilkes in the home opener. Kick-off is slated for 1 p.m. at David Person Field and all children under the age of 14 will be admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Tickets for the game will be available on game day and are $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens and students (ages 15 and older). Students with their Lycoming IDs are free. On regular game days, children under the age of 12 are free.

 Take a Kid to the Game is a national grassroots program designed to encourage adults to take children to an NCAA football game. Entering its 17th year, more than 200 institutions from every NCAA division will be hosting a TAKG day this year. Since its inception, this program has been a huge success and has allowed thousands of children to experience NCAA football.

The Take a Kid to the Game program is one of the national promotions of NCAA Football, the marketing arm of college football. NCAA Football represents a coalition of the American Football Coaches Association, Collegiate Commissioners Association, Football Bowl Association, National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics, National Collegiate Athletic Association and the National Football Foundation.
