Lycoming Football Allowing Tailgating Inside Athletic Complex

Lycoming College is excited to announce that there will be a designated tailgating area inside the Shangraw Athletic Complex on Saturday, October 26th.

Please read the Homecoming 2013 Tailgating Policy below and keep it in mind when making your tailgating plans. We look forward to seeing you this weekend!

Lycoming College Homecoming 2013 Tailgating Policy

Tailgating is permitted in a designated area within the Shangraw Athletic Complex (to the east of the stadium)  from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013.

Set-up times: 8 to 10:30 a.m.
No alcohol may be brought into the stadium after 12:45 p.m.
Teardown times: 5 to 6:30 p.m.


Tailgating is being offered to enhance the team spirit and Homecoming experience. We invite you to take advantage of this opportunity to make great memories and show your Warrior Pride! Lycoming College expects its guests to display proper behavior at all times. Foul language, persons acting in a disruptive, disorderly or disrespectful manner will be asked to leave the premises. Participants in tailgating are expected to follow all relevant Pennsylvania laws and College policies, including not serving minors.

Enrolled Lycoming College students, regardless of age, are not permitted to be inside the tailgating area, to consume or to possess alcoholic beverages. Students who fail to comply will be subject to disciplinary action.

Charcoal fires, open flames or large grills are prohibited
No kegs, party balls or *large quantities of alcohol
No glass containers
No alcohol outside of the designated area
Small, weighted tents/canopies are allowed, but no large tents that require staking
All trash must be placed in receptacles or taken with you upon departure
No persons under the age of 21 inside the designated tailgating area

Lycoming College Security monitors the tailgating area. Any violation of the tailgating policy may result in immediate termination of tailgating privileges and criminal prosecution or disciplinary action through the Office of Safety and Security and/or local law enforcement agencies.
 
*the determination of what constitutes a large quantity of alcohol is made at the discretion of Safety and Security.
