ANNVILLE, Pa. - Senior linebacker Andrew Burkholder has been named the MAC Defensive Player of the Week and freshman tailback Brendan Irving has earned a spot on the MAC Weekly Honor Roll.

The pair were instrumental in #25 Lebanon Valley's 30-6 win over Stevenson on Saturday that clinched a share of the Middle Atlantic Conference title for the Dutchmen (8-1, 7-1 MAC). It is the first career MAC awards for each. LVC has now had six different student-athletes named MAC Player of the Week this season, and seven different players named to the honor roll.

Burkholder picked off two of LVC's five interceptions to lead a defense that did not give up a point to Stevenson, whose lone score came on a defensive touchdown. Burkholder had a second-quarter interception and also made one on the final play of the game to seal the win. The senior had four tackles and another pass break-up, and leads the team with four interceptions this season.

Irving ran for 136 yards and two touchdowns to record his third straight 100-yard game and fourth of the season. The freshman broke loose for touchdowns of 34 and 23 yards in the first and fourth quarters, respectively, and averaged 6.8 yards per carry as LVC racked up 317 yards rushing overall.
