Mike Weber has been associated with Lycoming football for more than half his life, having spent four seasons as a player and he is set to begin his 25th as an assistant coach. Weber will again be in charge of the linebackers in 2012, as well as continuing to help in recruiting.
Weber has become an integral part of the Warriors’ defensive staff, joining the program in 1989 and helping the team to 12 league titles and 11 NCAA Division III playoffs. A member of the staff of both national finalist teams in 1990 and 1997, Weber has also helped produce several All-Americans at the linebacker slot, including Ryan Yaple in 2007 and 2012 MAC Defensive Player of the Year Kabongo Bukasa, and he has coached 20 all-conference players at the slot.
Weber was a linebacker for Lycoming in the mid-1980s and was a member of the Warriors first national playoff team in 1985.
He teaches social studies at Muncy High School and resides in Williamsport with his wife, Tanya, and son, Michael.
