Lycoming football set to host Be The Match Registry Drive

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College football team has partnered with Be the Match Registry for the second year in a row as part of the Get in the Game campaign and will host a bone marrow testing drive on Tuesday, April 14, 2015.

The drive will be held from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. in Pennington Lounge in the Academic Center on the campus of Lycoming College.

The "Get in the Game" (GITG) campaign is focused on using the passion and strength of football in a life-altering way. By raising awareness, educating and recruiting new members into Be the Match registries, families who are searching for matching donors now have hope.

Getting registered is a simple (free) process that requires limited paperwork and a painless swab of the inside of one's cheek. The event is open to the entire Lycoming campus and surrounding communities.
