Lycoming College Football "Play of the Year Award"

"The pressure of this play says it all!"

LycomingFootball.com Award: Lycoming College Football "Play  of the Year Award."

Albright Vs Lycoming: Senior place kicker Zack Czap nails a perfect strike through the center of the uprights thus tying the score with 10 seconds remaining in the game. If missed, the Warriors would not be MAC Champions for the 15th time. This kick, despite two Albright (4-3 overall, 3-3 MAC) timeouts to ice him, senior Zack Czap (Philipsburg, Pa./Philipsburg-Osceola) lined up from the right hash and drilled a 35-yard field goal into a 20-mile per hour wind with 18 seconds left to tie the game.

Lycoming's first possession in overtime, the Warriors turned to junior Craig Needhammer (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) to finish the job and he pounded the ball 15 yards on three carries before the Warriors (5-2 overall, 5-1 MAC) centered the ball to set up Czap, who calmly stepped into a game-winning 29-yard field goal.

It was the first overtime game in head coach Mike Clark's six years as head coach and the first overtime win since a 33-30 upset over Ithaca on Oct. 15, 2005.
