2013 Lycoming Football - Scott Brisson Offensive Coordinator

After helping Lycoming to its best conference finish since 2008 in his first year with the program, Scott Brisson is set for his second season as football team's as offensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator in 2013.

In his first year with the program, Brisson worked extensively with first-year starter Tyler Jenny, helping the quarterback guide the team to eight wins, including an upset of nationally-ranked Delaware Valley. During the campaign, Jenny was picked off just four times while tossing 17 touchdowns. Six of the team's starting 11 offensive players earned all-conference honors, including Jenny, who was an all-conference selection. Senior running back Parker Showers also earned Capital One Academic All-District honors.

Brisson served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Saints, helping the team to the 2010 Liberty League title with a 5-1 conference mark. While at St. Lawrence, Brisson was responsible for all offensive play calling and coordinating the kickoff return unit. He also organized and coordinated all recruiting weekends for the program. On the field, he helped 10 Saints earn all-conference honors on the offensive side of the ball, while Marcus Washington became the first running back since 1991 to rush for more than 1,000 yards in 2011.

Before St. Lawrence, Brisson spent two seasons at the Championship Subdivision's Lehigh University, where he served as a wide receivers and running backs coach. He helped the Mountain Hawks to two rivalry wins over Lafayette and developed two all-conference talents during his time in Bethlehem.

Brisson began his coaching career as the wide receivers coach at the Centennial Conference's Franklin & Marshall, where he helped one Diplomat wide-out to all-conference honors in two seasons with the program.

A 2006 graduate of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, Brisson was a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter at wide receiver for the Polar Bears. The Danbury, Conn., native earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in government and sociology.
